Farm-stand fresh! These three words best describe our Produce Department. When people talk about County Fair, produce is often the first thing they mention. Our tremendous volume enables us to buy at lower prices and pass the savings on to our customers.

Our variety is second to none, and our quality and freshness are unquestioned. With all its color and fabulous displays, it's a fun department, and our customers enjoy lingering throughout.

Our Produce Manager, Sal, has traveled the world and loves to talk shop with his customers. He always offers samples of the latest seasonal favorites! We also offer healthy cold-pressed juices and a wide selection of organic produce.

Our deli is not just a deli—it's a kitchen. Our salads are made fresh every day with real ingredients and no preservatives! Some of your family favorites include our Nellie's Red Potato Salad, Twisted Tuna, Greek Chicken Pasta, and our famous Chicken Salad! Our Chicken Salad is made with all-white meat, and we sell over 150 lbs. every day!

We also offer the finest variety of deli-sliced lunch meats and cheeses, but we are especially proud of our all-natural Nellie's Turkey Breast and our U.S. Choice Roast Beef—both are roasted in our own ovens with our own seasonings!

Homemade soups, dips, and sandwiches make this department a “must-stop” on every visit to County Fair! We are especially proud of our friendly and knowledgeable deli team, particularly Lisa, our Deli Manager, who has overseen our quality control for more than 35 years.

County Fair offers a complete fresh dairy department that includes a wide variety of milk, featuring Fairlife, Lamers Bottled Milk, soy milk, and almond milk.

The incredible egg is a big deal at County Fair, as we offer several varieties, such as organic, cage-free, and pasture-raised.

We also have an extensive selection of both imported and domestic cheeses to fill your favorite recipe or charcuterie board!

County Fair also sells different kinds of yogurt, including Greek, Icelandic, French, protein yogurts, dairy-free, and lactose-free varieties.

We understand that the foundation of any meal is usually meat, and this is where we really excel.

We strictly sell U.S. Choice and Prime Beef, Fresh U.S. Government Inspected Pork, All Natural Gold'n Plump and Organic Chicken.

Our butchers are always creating new items, such as The Kreative Kabob, Homemade Sausages, Ceviche, Salmon Dijon, and our one-of-a-kind Billy Burgers!

Some of our special highlights throughout the year include:

• St. Patrick's Day: We sell 20,000 lbs. of Bulk Style Corned Beef during this special holiday, more than any other single store in the City of Chicago!

• Thanksgiving: We sell hundreds of fresh Turkeys that are specifically ordered and selected for our customers.

• Christmas: This is the most special day of the year, and our customers demand the very best. This is why we feature U.S. Prime Beef Tenderloin and Prime Rib Roast

However, we are most proud of our Extra Lean Ground Chuck, which we grind several times a day on premises.

Our Greatest Advantage is our Butchers, and of course, our most valuable Irish Import, Michael Benson, who hails from Adare, Ireland.
